The crew of the way return from a dangerous detour codenamed the "Dollhouse," a derelict Imperial research vessel whose inhabitants stalked our fearless fringers as they tried to loot the abandoned ship. Barely escaping with their lives, they return with a haul of scavenged supplies to trade for credits and information on a safe route into the uncharted Lehon system.
However, Elo also returns with a haunting souvenir, a mask belonging to one of the abhorrent experiments aboard the derelict ship, a strange reminder of some elusive element of Elo’s program, buried deep beneath their circuits and memory. The crew returns to the Ring of Kafrene to sell off their goods, get some well earned R&R, and begin their next journey into the unknown regions of Wild Space.
